Selling a DarkVoice 336se that I have modified the bejeezus out of, with upgraded tubes.

Upgraded Tubes: NOS Mullard 6080 power tube, NOS US-made Tung-Sol 6SN7
Mods:

• Replaced the awful power switch with a better one
• Replaced both octal sockets with Belton Micalex sockets
• "Fitz" mod (two resistors on the 6SN7 socket to reduce/remove the static that is endemic to the DarkVoice)
• Center-tapped ground
• New upgraded Vishay resistors on everything around the 6SN7 socket
• Replaced terrible wiring with upgraded twisted wires between the power, 6AS7 and 6SN7 sockets
• Replaced awful pot with stepped resistor
• Snipped pre-out wires

Basically I've gone and rewired/replaced resistors and caps in something like 75% of the internals. I put a ton of pictures throughout the process in this thread if you want to investigate. I may have forgotten some of the mods as well... don't get too freaked out by the early terrible soldering, I got a LOT better as the project went on.

But after all the learning I got from making this sound like a proper amp, I got a Bottlehead Crack with Speedball and built that. I don't need two OTL amps, and I really need to fund some ill-advised (but still exciting to me) headphone purchases.
