Pads + suspension strap show signs of wear. I'd recommend replacing with the new 2021 pads to make these equivalent in sound to the new 2021 model.
Soundwise I'd describe these as tactile with a touch of emphasis on the highs & lowmids. They're great with games/movies when lightning strikes or someone offloads a clip right next to you you feel it.
