Selling a wonderful DAC/streamer combo that I may regret moving on from, so may end up keeping if no one is interested. The ELAC Discovery has little info on it online for whatever reason, but I think it is a huge steal even in today's market.
First, straightforward streaming to major music services like Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal. Second, comes with a lifetime subscription to Roon Essentials, which had a recent upgrade that made it much closer to regular Roon. Third, has a built-in Cirrus DAC that actually sounds much better than expected. In fact, I had the Discovery DAC and Gungnir MB A2 pitted against each other, and I barely prefer the Gungnir. Price difference though was massive, especially considering I saved near $1500 by selling off my Gumby, my USB-SPDIF DDC, and my prior Sonore OpticalRendu in favor of this simple ELAC DAC/streamer. That doesn't even factor in the $100+ saved on Roon each year! Writing that all out makes me want to just keep this unit as a extremely capable backup, but if there are any interested buyers, would happy to pass this deal on.
Condition is great with some small signs of use. Comes with original charger, ethernet cable, and box as pictured.
