I've recently gotten into e-stat headphones, and this was my first hi end amp. Fantastic amp, made by one of the best builders: JR audio, with 20 years experience Building. As you can see by the pictures it’s an exceptionally clean build.

I've enjoyed this amp so much I've decided to purchase a KGSSHV Carbon at 3x the price. This amp is extremely clear sounding and musical; powering my 007 omega 2 and the other e-stats I was trying effortlessly. It made my drop esp/95x into a giant killer. It also looks great. This Kevin Gilmore amp is a better amp than any of the Stax models. A worthy upgrade to the 717 and 727.
