About two years ago I purchased a Icon Audio HP8 MKII tubed headphone amp. Two 6SN7 or equivalent on output stage, a single 12AX7 or equivalent on input.

Terrific sounding amp, but mine, being a floor demo model, suffered a failed power supply. Rather than repairing my amp, they replaced it with a BRAND NEW MODEL.

This is that NEW model for sale. Still sealed in the box. Also included is a pair of Jensen Coupling Capacitors for the outputs. They are an extremely easy install if one has basic soldering skills and can follow instructions. Note that these are the capacitors recommended directly from the engineer(s) at Icon, regardless of what you may read on the forum. A call to Icon was the first call I made before ordering the Caps.

Even without the caps this amp is just an incredible sounding piece of kit. You may never feel the need to upgrade. If you do? Well, you have the necessary component.
