Selling my excellent condition Audio GD Master 11 due to a family tragedy. I'm selling most of my gear to pay for medical bills and because I've lost interest in audio while (still) grieving. I purchased this from a fellow head-fi'er a few years back and used it randomly for a couple hours every month. It has performed flawlessly the whole time, along with the 5 other Audio GD units I've owned. Then tragedy struck and here I am with no interest in any of my gear, and a stack of bills. Selling this will help. It's been sitting in the original box (and packing materials) in my living room for 6 weeks now, and I'd like to see it go. These units are exceptionally rare as most owners have no interest in giving this up. I may regret this someday, but for now, this is what's best. This is the last, and perhaps best PCM1704UK based all in one, and easily the most versatile. Original price with shipping was a bit over $2000.

It is in excellent condition. There is nothing that I am capable of capturing in a photo, and nothing you could possibly spot less than a couple feet away while searching; so nothing worth mentioning. Functionally it is perfect, cosmetically, this is a solid 8.5 out of 10. I updated the firmware with Kingwa a couple of years ago to the current firmware (DSPv7), and also included is the USB blaster you would need to update in the future if necessary. I would expect that Audio GD would support this product for many years to come if necessary, as they are always super easy to work with - I've been a customer for the last 12 years.

The original owner upgraded the USB card from the XMOS unit it shipped with to the Amanero unit. Amanero is installed right now, XMOS is also included. I have no idea what the differences are as I have never used USB audio, just toslink and coax.

This sale includes the Master 11, the original box and packing material, the metal remote, USB blaster, jumpers to change settings, power cord, the XMOS USB card, and an extra volume pot - also from the original owner - Audio GD products seem to ship with random extra parts in my experience.

As for the sound - it's utterly fantastic. The Master 11 does nothing wrong, and just makes MUSIC! It sounds stunningly lifelike, probably due to the over the top construction and 4 PCM1704UK chips, which are now in the history books. Bass is powerful and articulate, mids are clear and accurate, treble is airy and free of anything bad, soundstage is huge. Single word summary is it sounds: natural! This is perhaps the ultimate all in one unit - it has enough power to power absolutely any headphone, it has EVERY conceivable input and output, it's a DAC, an amp, and a preamp, and you can use it as a DAC or amp only. It's a truly extraordinary piece. I'm drastically downsizing my setup because I need to pay medical bills and just can't get into this stuff anymore

Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle are all fine, local pickup is great, or you can pay actual shipping with insurance from 07747, shipping weight is 34 lbs and the box is BIG - 22x23x8!
