Hello Head-Fi’ers, we are exclusively sharing our B stock” to Head-Fi members only! As usual, there is a limited quantity for this sale.

All these headphones offered for sale are B-stock headphones. B-stock refers to anything that has either left our warehouse and was returned, or is new and marked as B-stock for cosmetic reasons. You can expect minor cosmetic flaws, but the items will be functionally perfect and covered by the same warranty as new products (with the exception of any minor cosmetic flaws).

We usually have a high demand for our posts on Head-Fi (thank you!), so please bear in mind that this product will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Buyer pays for shipping and any taxes or duties.

I´m from EU, so no luck for me, but, can you please tell me the width of the leather head band, in the center, in the widest? I gotta order a stand, but need to know that dimension. Thanks a lot in advance!!

no man, that is the length, I need to know the width, must be like 7cm I guess, 70mm. The center, the widest part at the very top of the head.

Question, @Martin Audeze. I had a pair of the "old" logo of these and I currently have two pairs of the new design (the word "AUDEZE" on the cups).

Does the older version use the same pads as the new ones? My old logo version seemed to have firmer pads on them. But that could simply because they got firmer over time (dried up or the like).

Thanks for any insight you can provide. I actually prefer the firmer pads as I think they are a bit bassier.

Hey dude,

Very awesome on the twin close backs. Send me a photo of your rig!

These close backs (old design cups) I am listing will have the Firmer older memory foam earpads. Going forward on all our heaphones we're only producing them with our new open cell pads (slimmer). I liked my old pads at first, but once listening through the newer earpads I started changing all my headphones to the new design. They feel and sound better (at least to me.)

We changed the design to a less dense material that we feel add bit more clarity to certain frequencies and more importantly make the ear pads a more universal fit for all types of ears.

Since you've changed all your old pads to the new pads, can I get your old pads? Kinda kidding, but not really. LOL.

Headphones below (just sold my Fostex TR-X00 Ebonies that were on the far left).

One of the LCD-2C closed will be for work when I head back.

EDIT: Rig is off to the right side of my desk on the main shelf. Modius --> Magnius --> Loki (MIGHT get the Lokius to keep things balanced throughout).

My old ear pads are thrashed unfortunately. Buying these may be the only way to get those old pads as we have no old pads in stock.

Well, I don't need three pairs of LCD-2C closed (LOL)... and $599 just might be the most expensive pair of earpads ever. :D

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find some on a buy / sell / trade like this... or just stick with what I've got.

Or perhaps someone wants to trade a gently used new model (that I purchased in May) for a b-stock old model? :D
