This is an integrated amplifier for both speakers and headphones. As headphone amp, the Ragnarok 2 is extremely power (see the power rating and can drive difficult cans. Extremely versatile and high performing. This is the 2nd/current generation.
This is the amp only version without the optional DAC and phonoe module.

Now, I wanna talk about my experience with the Ragnarok 2. I have compared the Ragnarok 2 and Headamp GS-X and found the performance difference is virtually non-existent contrary to what the price might suggest. I was surprised at that time and was looking over the internet to see if there is any independent confirmation of my observation. The only thing I could find was the comparison between the original Ragnarok with the GS-X by Headphone.Guru, quoted by Schiit, although this article is no longer website. Headphone.guru also has a raving review about the Rag 2 FWIW.
The big advantage of Rag 2 is its incredible power output, driving difficult cans such as the HE6 with much ease. It is incredibly neutral and fast. Just a real bargain as most of Schiit products are. I am selling my headphone gears to focus on speaker listening.
