500+ Head-Fier
The Wavelet app on Android works really well with the MDR-1AM2 auto preset, makes them sound more "HiFi" and mostly removes the Sony house sound. Using with my Sony Experia 5 Mark IV on it's built in headphone jack and it sounds very good. The Sony Experia 5 IV drives them without problem to high volume.
Regarding Bluetooth, my Sony H900N can be made sound much better by messing with bluetooth settings under Developer Options on Android, if you have enabled that menu. Default is a lesser Bluetooth quality, to save battery I suppose. The H900N sounds surprisingly good for being bluetooth, it has capable Titanium coated drivers but is held back by the default Android settings.
