Hey guys just wanted to say that the prototype, and or finished cable from Zach the hybrid he has put together for me with a 4pin xlr plug for the NFB28 came in today, and I have to say this cable(though I just asked for basic version with out splitter or anything ) came out really good. The copper and silver looks really good intertwined like it is. And I asked for shrink wrap only on the split section that goes into each cup, because I would rather it to be lighter. That is why I went basic but it definitely is an improvement as far as cables go. More flexible and lighter to have added to the ZxV which is always a plus.

It looks nice the way it is paired with the walnut cups I have on the ZxV, I wanted to take some pictures but was unable to with 1080 webcam so I will be grabbing my phone soon and taking a few decent shots. Which I have been meaning to do of the ZxV since getting them a while back, and will post them here and on the review I posted, which I appreciate your guys feedback it really is nice to know people read it, and sorry if it seems a bit rushed I cam down with a bad sinus cold this weekend and that is why I said revisions and edits to come on the bottom of the review. This one the first draft and I mean I only sat down and just wrote, no edits and revising to grammar and sentences or ideas.

Plus side on the cable, and I am not really one to believe in cables really improving sq, and I have to say it definitely makes it sound cleaner to my ear, and if that is all you gain by this cable.. then take it from me it is sounds to be worth it.

Pics incoming within the hour
P.S. thank you Zach, my friend, for being a great asset to my audio journey again

Now. whatever your opinions you may have about ZMF Headphones, and of Zach may differ. All My experiences with ZMF, and exclusively Zach have been great, and in buying and customizing choices with his guidance I have made a good friend in this community, but one thing anyone cannot say about him is that there are no choices. LOL, Customizing is definitely an option and you are able to get I believe two different types of splitters for aesthetic purposes with this cable, he knows the info. I preferred a basic design like I said for flexibility and weight.

Thanks man, I wish I still had my 35mm rebel, granted there are better cameras out there but I loved that camera. Anyways it is a nice looking cable I believe I got the first and simpler version of it. Without the metallic splitter. But I did get the extension to use 1/4 inch plug which is definitely a nice touch. I will be honest I feel like with the NFB28 the balanced gives less harshness in the treble than the single ended jack, and gives more detail, speed, and finally clarity to the ZxV easily best dac and amp I have used with this headphone. TY Zach for the info on those different amps we talked about.
