i suppose it's been posted already, but grado's website even have a photo tour of their factory. surprised to see the workers not wearing grados, though...

Also been posted that they are probably only assembled in NY, the drivers made in Southeast Asia. The drivers been identified, but you'll have to root through Head-Fi to find that, it's pretty well hidden.

my HD580 and EH2200 were made in Ireland

my MX55, PX100, E888, and J2s were made in China (though the PX100s say on the package "acoustics made in europe")

no idea where my etys were made

my PFEs were made in vietnam

Most of my headphones were made in Japan. That's probably because they're almost all made in the 70's. It's getting so hard to avoid new stuff made in china unless you're willing to invest big bucks.

I received an email from an Audio Technica guy stating the following:
 
"Some of our products are manufactured in China, but the ATH-A700 are not as they are made in Japan. Thanks."
 
I find it confusing as some on here say their ATH-A700s are made in Japan whereas some say China. Some say their AKGs are made in Austria whereas some say China for the same product; Sennheisers as well.
