When you become disappointed in a friend for not realizing that you need a phono-preamp to use a turntable. He also didn't know what connectors a turntable would use, and thought that you can get a high-end turntable for around $100.

On the other hand, it was funny to see how utterly lost he was when I started about RIAA equalization curves and belt vs. direct driven.

When you just got yourself a pair of AKG Q701 when you already have a HD650 & a Valhalla, plus a ton of other high end IEM's like the GR10, e-Q5, and HP-TWF21.
