You Know You're an Audiophile When.. Version 2!

One of my ridiculous backburner ideas has been to build an M3 or Beta22 into a suitcase, using something like a laptop battery pack for power, plus having enough room for the headphones and computer itself.

An airport security scanner would probably think it was a bomb.

That won't be easy to take with you through the airport with that built in battery pack (that would probably be quite large)

There are plenty of external laptop batteries these days that aren't much bigger than a smartphone. Midsize ones are like a hardcover book which are still plenty portable. Take a look at the Energizer XP8000/18000 just as an example (way more options out there).

Well if you've got crappy power, that conditioner/regenerator might be beneficial...

I believe in cables making a difference

I also feel that cables do make a difference. Though i feel it more when i switch from stock headphone cables to crappy budget ones because I am not willing to buy the expensive aftermarket ones...
(though i have a 4 inch aftermarket interconnect between amp and dac for about $20, not too much, the stock cable seems boomier and cloudy in comparison, not willing to drop $300 on one though

I guess one day I will really have to test it myself after all xD now, budget friendly cable for Annie's? xD

YKYAAW people ask you how many headphones you  have, you will have to count it with a calculator because your toes and fingers are not enough xP but I doubt why would one need so many headphone unless for different room that one is going; living room, study room, bed room, office, car, airplane, bath room [?]

[just fun only]

People still use wallets these days?

True story: I'm downtown coming out of a show and a homeless guy comes up asking for money. Random dude next to me pats his empty pockets and shrugs and says (quite seriously): got paypal?
