Mowing the lawn is an abhorrence. Just awful. But today I tried it with the HD280. The result...Joni Mitchell kept me company the entire time!

Mowing the lawn has gotten a lot better with the Sansa Fuze and Sennheisers. Don't know about ChiComm4, but I don't sweat a lot on the riding mower. Nor do the Sennheisers.

My ER-4Ps have been my mowing companion for years, even in the dead of Texas summer. They probably get a little sweatier than normal, but they've held up perfectly fine. I've had them for around 4 years and haven't even needed to replace a filter. The foamies, and now the "gliders", stay firmply planted for hours.

Mowing is far more enjoyable with some good tunes and the sound of the mower almost completely subdued.

I welcome the use of your headphones while mowing.
