Hello all,

I need some XLR cables to connect my new stack comprising a Gustard X26pro DAC, Topping A90 balanced headphone amp/ preamp and my Neumann KH80 DSP active speakers which takes XLR input.

I need a short pair (1m or less) to connect the DAC to the Preamp, and a longer one (3m) for Preamp to speakers.

I am looking at a few choices.

1. Mogami Gold XLR using their 2534 cable. 24AWG Quad, cond capacitance 97pF/m

2. QED Reference XLR. 24 AWG Silver plated OFC, Tri-conductor, 63pF/m

3. Topping TCX-1 using MPS SGP222 cables. 19 AWG x 2 silver plated 6N OCC conductors. 26.9 Ω / km

4. ZY 6N OCC, Palic 4 conductor cable. No information about capacitance or gauge.

Some others eg. Sommer epilogue/ Chord Clearway XLR.

I'm a newbie, do please forgive my lack of technical knowledge. Paying a little more now to reduce the need for upgrade later is OK, but if the above cables have no audible difference then money could be better used elsewhere.

I would appreciate any advice/ impressions/ experience with these cables, as well as other better alternatives at similar price points.

Thanks for helping me out!

No point in buying expensive cables. Some patch cables from a pro audio store will be perfectly fine.
