These have been out for a few months now, and I've yet to see an "open-box" or "demo" sale at any of our big vendors at less than retail. I'm wondering if no one is returning these things within the usual 30-day window (unlikely), if the vendors sending them back to Sennheiser, or if they are simply repacking them and selling them as new?

If you've purchased and returned a pair of HD800's, please briefly relate your story why you did so.
