i have the KSC75 and i'm thinking about getting the PK2 too but before i do that i need some help from someone who has heard both:Will PK2 play loud with very limited amplification (louder than the Koss)?
Thanks

KSC75 Sensitivity: 101 dB SPL/1mW
While the Yuin PK2 seems to be 108db. Meaning that the PK2 will play louder when fed the same signal voltage. If one of them max out before another is a different aspect...

Not necessarily. My PK3 max out after my GS1000. Not that you would ever listen at that volume except out of curiosity.

No,I’m not talking about maxing them out-only which one will play at a decently loud level (not earsplitting !) from a weak source (like one of those Euro DAPs with the very limited head amp).Looks like PK2 will do the job.

I wouldn't recommend the pk2's for loud listening though. They are sufficiently loud but I blew out the right earbud on my last pair (They sent me a new pair for free) and i listened at about 65 - 70 % volume on my ipod.

From my experience, PK2 played (quite a lot louder) than my KSC75 on the same volume from my DAP. Might have to do with the earbud design, it channels the sound to your ears, less so with the Koss which leaks like crazy.
