Hey everyone,
Like the topic says, what was the first headphone(s) you purchased after coming to Head-Fi for the first time? I'm a little curious because I've been here for about a month or so, and already bought 2 headphones

First one I bought were the Sony MDR-D66 Eggos for portable use, and a few days ago I just purchased the Ultrasone HFI-650 Trackmasters.

On a side note, did you have mid-high end headphones before coming to Head-Fi?

Before coming here, only ones I had before were cheap $30 ones

One week after visiting- the Senn PX200's.
Two weeks later, back to the store.
One week after- practically new Grado SR-80's off a fellow Head-Fier.
Then I was hooked.

I bought Koss Portapros a little less than a month after coming here. Before that I had only used crappy streetstyles and earbuds.

HD-600s and RS-2s (with a Creek OBH-11)

It seemed like these were the 'top picks' at the time. I didn't want to go through the same upgraditis that I had (and still am) going through with other audio gear.

Shortly afterwards I bought the OBH-2 Power Pack for the Creek.
Then came the MG Head....tubes, lots and lots of tubes...interconnects....Ety ER4S & TAH & DEJ1000....interconnects....power cables....caig....Audio Art HD 600 cable....interconnects....

It may be an expensive hobby, but it sure is fun!
