Waited with baited breath for Belluci & was dissapointed. Had it not been for the fight scenes & special effects of the Machine (Sentinels?) invasion I would have fell asleep. Agent Smith also saved the day for me.

I like revolutions alot. I didnt expect it to have a stronger plot than the first one because thats simply not possible... It really surprised me. I had high expectations and they were fulfilled for the most part. I highly reccomend revolutions if you like the whole matrix idea.

Terminator 3 was just horrible... Even at the end, at its climax, i thought about just turning the tv off, why waste another 15 minutes to get the end of a stupid movie... Horrible.

Whoever made this movie had instilling boredom down to an art. I still feel kinda comatose.

And I'm one of the few who didn't find TR1 not all-too lame.

Actually saw Elf the other day. Pretty funny parts, and my wife liked it. I liked the Elf four food groups: 1) candy, 2) candy canes, 3) candy corn, and 4) syrup.

An oldie on cable: "The Shout" with Alan Bates, John Hurt, Susanna York, and Tim Robbins. Very offbeat, spooky, and original--I recommend it highly!

Just rented "Adaptation" with Nicholas Cage and Meryl Streep. Excellent flick about a tormented screenwriter trying to adapt a best selling book about orchids into a movie. It was done by the same people who did "Being John Malkovich" and is equally quirky and clever. Surprisingly, although not even close to being an action movie, it contains both the best and second best car accident scenes I've ever seen.

A strange flick. I wasn't a big fan of each of the individual series.

I just saw Master and Commander with Russel Crow. It's a great flick. Especially if you've read the books by Patrick O'Brian.

Oh and I also rented Full Metal Jacket and watched it for the bajillionth time. It only gets better with age.

I just saw a free screening of THE COOLER staring William H.Macy and Alec Baldwin.

"The unluckiest man in Vegas - a guy whose bad luck is contagious - is used by the last of the old time mob run casinos to kill high rollers' action. That is, until he falls in love with a cocktail waitress and gets "lady luck," which throws the situation into reverse. Things turn nasty when the casino director tries to break up the romance."

Check this out if you want to see Alec Baldwin get angry or William H. Macy's first nude scene.

i watched the two towers extended edition over two nights earlier this week. some of the added scenes are really great, and i noticed a couple tiny little other things like gore involving orcs and stuff. plus, the transfer and quality of the release is incredible and was truly a great test for my new dvd player.

after i finished the second disc, i stayed up till 4am watching se7en for the first time in a while. what a damn good movie. fincher is just the man.

Think it was Stuart who pointed this out, but if you get a chance watch his Stray Dog before se7en and you'll see some parallels.

Finally got around to seeing Kill Bill the other day. It was just a TAD BIT too bloody for my tastes... other than that, I really liked it. Very stylish, good music, great fight scenes. Loved the snow-covered, Japanese garden.

Seven is a good movie, doesn't exactly pull many punches.
