many consider the Dita Perpetua the best, but it comes at a high price lol. I wish there was a way to demo as I'm unsure about the fit. As for value I've heard lots of praise for the $200 Oriveti OD200

What I'm noticing is that the $800 single DD 3 years ago is now $200. Amazing how value is going up so quickly in the space.

The best 1DD I've heard so far (at any price) is the Timsok TS-316 ($500).

The Nightjar Singularity ($1300) is another good one if you want a warmer presentation, but I personally prefer the SQ of the TS-316 over it.

And the FIR Audio E12 ($1800) looks like a contender if you're looking for a more exciting, V-shaped tuning. But I haven't heard it yet, so I can't say anything about its SQ.

Once you get above $500, all pricing relevance pretty much goes right out the window.

Like the TIMSOK I have both the TS-316 and Simgot EM500LM and Iike the sound of the $90 better. That being said I pick up my Twilight or Falcon Ultra the most.

If I'm gonna get a single DD IEM, I just want it to what it's best intended to do: that 18" subs to my eardrums and have that understanding that it won't be able to compete with hybrids out there in terms of resolution, speed, attack and decay. I haven't heard a single DD that does bass better than the Nightjar Singularity. You'd have to step up for Double DD (upcoming Nightjar Duality) or the triple DD (Campfire Audio Trifecta) as your step up from the Nightjar Singularity

Man the buzz is real for the EM500LM. I'm seeing a 2 week lag on Amazon and at $90 I may have to pull the trigger. Are the highs too much on it? Not a fan of IEMs that are too much in the treble.

For me the Falcon Ultra because it's more laid back and warmer.
