Garth Stevenson - Flying

This album was truly an exceptional find. If you want to experience something deeply relaxing and meditative, go stream this album for free in its entirety on Bandcamp, where you can also purchase the digital version if you so wish. The physical CD version, however, has perhaps the most exquisite case I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. It is worth owning just for the sake of having it. The CD cases are handmade in the mountains of Nepal, using traditional Nepalese Lokta paper. Each case is hand silk-screened and tied shut with small, beeswax-coated brown thread, woven through orange beads. Both the music and the cases are a serene expression of the beauty of nature. The CD version is available through Garth's web store, linked below.

Lars Danielsson - Libera Me

Another bass player, one of my favorites. My copy is kindly signed by the artist.

Various artists (ELECTROCUTICA) - Crystalloid

I'm not a religious person, but thank god that ELECTROCUTICA decided to reissue this album for for me it is an absolutely essential album to have in my music collection. The version of AVTechNO!'s "boku-boku" that's on this disc alone makes the CD worth its price to me even if it cost a hundred dollars, which it doesn't thanks to no longer being out of print. Ditto for virtually every other song on the record. The version of "Leucos" on here blows my mind.

It's discs like this that remind me of how much I exactly love music.

Clean Tears - Tonality

Lovin' it.
