Sounds nice. Does anyone know of a good tutorial for getting into wetshaving? Video or otherwise. I might just pick up a Merkur.

If you are considering either the Merkur Classic or HD then I would suggest either the Edwin Jagger DE89L or the Muehle R89.  The DE89 and R89 have the same heads and while I prefer the styling of the Muehle's handle the Muehle is generally much more expensive.  But they should give you practically the same shave and I definitely feel that they both are superior to the Merkurs in terms of finish and performance.
