just picked up my WA6 from the post office this morning and opened the package to find the most beautiful amp i've ever seen....
and.......
no power cable.
i feel like a stupid newbie. oh, wait. i am!
but, honestly, i didn't know that a power cord didn't come with the WA6.

so, if you experienced cats could let me know where i can find a "pretty good" one, i'd greatly appreciate it.
(and, no, i don't really believe in power cord and cable voodoo

, so i'll probably ignore all the recommendations above $100. haha.)

also, in the meantime, i plan to borrow a cpu cable from work. is there any reason that won't work to tide me over until i get a decent cable?

thanks, guys!

Yeah... They ship without a power cable... It should work without a problem.

Hi,

Just use any computer power cable as they are shielded. Don't spend money in any esoteric cable as you most probably won't notice any difference...

Enjoy your new amp...

I honestly haven’t looked lately, but when I ordered my WA6 about 2 years ago it clearly stated on the woo site that the power cable is not included.

Edit: just looked and it states "AC Power cord and RCA interconnect cables are not included"

You can't go wrong for $2.00! You got the 14 gauge cord, right?

I buy all my cables there at insanely cheap prices. The shipping is extremely reasonable and fast as well. I also like their quality. Cant beat the place!

I use a Volex power chord for my Woo amp and I like it because it is very sturdy and looks like it can last for at least 150 years. But that being said, a quality computer cable should be great too.

. On my Woo to me it makes a huge difference. I make my own power cables.
