Looks like after a bit of burn in, the Duke isn't half bad with EDM actually
I'm not going to lie, for earbuds I was impressed. I sure do hope they take this Zen driver, vent it properly, and make it a half in-ear like the Titan.
Doesn't that sound AMAZEBALLS?

Forward..VE Zen review should be done tonight fellas.
I gta ask, do you guys get a ton of bass from your zen?.
What I get is a decent amount of mid bass, a very forward and timbre rich midrange, very forward and resolving upper midrange, and a very nicely presented treble that is somewhat relaxed and enjoyable. As for sub bass, or anything from 20-70Hz, I can hear it but it is very rolled off in comparison to the rest of the other frequencies.
Is this a fair impression? The reason I ask is because #1 I'm not a big earbuds kind of guy, and #2 This is what I get in comparison to the IEMs I listen to.

Best in unaltered form, organic lushness and beautiful timbre. Best sound not so expensive
Would you guys describe the bass as forward and robust, or linear and resolving?

I don't think it's a hard hitter in the bass dept. More warm and engaging but not slow and wooly. It's a good compromise between fun and technical IMHO.
If I asked you what IEM has a similar bass response what would you say?I don't think it's a hard hitter in the bass dept. More warm and engaging but not slow and wooly. It's a good compromise between fun and technical IMHO.
Sorry for asking so many questions guys, I just want to make sure i cover my bases.
