Sunlight < Pineapples. This is the truth. Nothing more disgusting than the words sun and light put together. Almost as bad as strawberry.

Speaking of which where did tds and S.O go?

We ran off to go on a "Pineapple diet." (just joking, TwinQy)

Any receiver that puts its power amp stage in a separate (giant) case is a receiver that should not be argued with. Or listened to at max output with crazy efficient vintage speakers from anywhere less than a block away. Amazing find, S.O.!

EDIT: I just thought: the Silent One is going to be making a lot of noise with that thing.

Thanks. Later, when I'm tired of eating soup-for-one inside my empty home, I'm going to buy some vintage Klipsch speakers - Klipschorn or La Scala seen below:

There was another comment to be made, but I figured I would leave that for Warren to make(whenever he checks back in).

I first heard a pair of Klipschorns in 1978 at an audio show in San Francisco. I don't remember what they were using to drive them, but I remember that the entire noisy Convention Center stopped to listen when they fired those bad boys up. It was the best thing I had ever heard in my (then) 17 years of life.

FYI - you can still buy them brand new.
