You don’t need to pump out 120 out of Walkman. Give it low voltage and let amplifier do its job. Many amplifier work better at unity gain and above.Indeed the sony does not have line-out, still sounds great on volume 120.
But to my ear, the lotoo wins in line-out (I think its 2V)

When you say crazy, how crazy
Ah~inoxication. Addictive vocal. Small shell and not hard to drive. It's better for pop than classical music. I like it, but I don't recommend people around me to buy it because of crazy price.
And the Master clock:
It's amazing what information can be gleaned from a screenshot!
Not sure where to post this and thought the Watercooler might appreciate it. I've never been able to find a case for my portable gear that I'm happy with, so I designed and created my own. Exactly what I need, nothing I don't!
AirTag holder is a nice touch!
Just curious bro what is your current top 2 IEMsI haven't listened to erebus, and it's been over a year since I last listened to jewel, so it's not an exact comparison, jewel's vocals are cleaner, intoxication's are richer. I like intoxication better, especially on the male vocals, which are way ahead.
I bought intoxication without even listening to it because of the hype in China, and I admit that they are at least on par with the TOTLs that are often mentioned.
Of course, it can't beat all TOTLs, I like the storm and cp622b better.
intoxication is currently in 3rd place among my IEMs.

Looking for a cheap single-DD? I just reviewed the $66 JIALAI Carats and it's scary how good budget DDs are now. You're invited to read my full review here.

Yes indeed a good and powerful amp would definitely able to reproduce what a Sony DAP is capable of.You don’t need to pump out 120 out of Walkman. Give it low voltage and let amplifier do its job. Many amplifier work better at unity gain and above.
The following set up is a testimony of this with this settings: WM1Z at high gain vol at 45, the Resolute at low gain driving the IER-Z1R.
No need to turn DAP to 120 which would be way too high! One thing to note is that the Resolute has no vol pot and relies on the DAP to adj the vol, as what a preamp does.

Yeah Resolute is pretty great as well, had it for a week to play with it.Yes indeed a good and powerful amp would definitely able to reproduce what a Sony DAP is capable of.

Was not silent enough for my liking, but with headphones its amazing.
And if you dont need full black background, it ads such amazing low ends
I think this amp just runs 100%, so then indeed the volume can be controlled by the source
