aha It's just I saw a post that was from december 2016 on the same page. I am thinking of picking them up from penon audio but there is some confusion, there seems to be 2 upgrade versions:

Both are same but different link page......one page has the older content( with current version pictures loaded) when vsonic released the fixed cable version and the other is the current version that has upgraded cable and angled jack.

Hey guys!

So, I've been through GR02 Bass Edition, MH1C, VSD1/S and am currently on VSD3/S.

And here I am again. The VSD3S cable is giving way, as have all the Vsonic models I've had. I absolutely love them to bits. Their clarity, soundstage, instrument separation, everything. Now I have to move on, but I want atleast a bit more bass impact/punch, especially on the lower end, without losing on the other aspects. Only, and only because of that, I ruled out the GR07 Bass Editions.

Can someone recommend something? Till now I had shortlisted 1More Triple Drivers and RHA MA750s (~USD 100-150), but haven't been able to fix on them, still researching further.

Few details. I'm in India, use my OnePlus 3 phone as the source, though might go in for a portable amp if required. I primarily listen to Instrumentals (Thomas Bergersen, Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer), Acoustic/Vocal/House/Trance, and bits of Alternative Rock, Pop, and R&B as well, pretty much all over the place.

Your inputs are highly valued and appreciated!

After 100 hours of burn in i actually feel the vsd3 is better. I have both.

Hope my are tamed after some burn in. These are shrill and sibilant at least with my ear canals. Getting them closer to the eardrum seems to help but does not alleviate that OneNote treble. Ouch. Not trying to hate but they're just not doing it for me. I will give them a fair chance and see if things don't improve with brain time as well as free air burn in time. They do seem a tad better after 24 hrs of burn in though. I will keep it up... But my expectations are not very high considering how much I paid for them.

Couldn't you just replace the cable?

Honestly, the alpha Delta ad01 is probably one of the best values iems out there. The new fiio f9 or even f5 look promising as well. But get the AD01. Much better bass than the 1more quads, bettrr highs and mids as well.
Feel free to PM me with questions, but for the price it's an easy recommendation.
