Looks like you end up with the same waveform either way though. /rimshot
Shots fired! lol
You're welcome bud! Its almost time for me to upgrade my phone but I was planning to see what comes out this fall. this phone is making me question my decision And it comes with 64GB on board memory so thats a lot of space for music files. Honestly, at the price that it will be selling, I wonder how well it would compare against DAPs?
I've suggested a look on them way back ago to someone that asked advice on a cellphone with good music reproduction but they were dismissed by the brand unfortunately. Would love to hear some impressions on them! Being eyeing one for myself since the launch.
I think they just came out recently? Would be nice to see some real world impressions of how good they sound
That's some pretty phenomenal chips used in that phone. It's a shame we can't use LTE with it in the USA. It would be a must have if they made one with USA 4g LTE. The fact that it doesn't is a deal breaker for me.
I use one of the smaller carriers here so I don't get LTE anyway, but rather unlimited "4G", slow but works in a pinch. But it would be nice to have the options of using LTE when it comes time to change carriers. Is it confirmed that it won't support any of the T-mobile bands? Not even the AWS ones?
Also, I am not really familiar with chips and such, but would you say the hardware compares well to good DAPs? I mean at the price it will be selling it, might be worth it to use as a DAP/back up phone haha.
Edit: If I am reading the side, it can power cans up to 600 ohms?? Am I interpreting that right? If so, then holy cow that is some really mind boggling stuff, especially considering how thin the headphone is!
