Hey, does anyone know a solution for this:

When I plug my DX50 into my computer, the charging icon will appear on my DX50's battery icon in the top-right, but it won't connect to my PC. Obviously, this is the first time that this has happened to my unit since it has been working fine all these times. I'm currently running Mega Sound Explosion Second Edition if that helps, but if there is no easy fix, then I'll just do a FW reinstall, and hopefully that should solve it.

Thanks in advance. :)

  Try a different cable.

Thanks man, that actually did the trick!

The cable I used before, although it has always worked with my DX50, it seemed to not work today..It is in no way broken or damaged, since it still charges my phone and connects my Clip to the PC just fine.

I'm quite disappointed that the DX50 has no USB DAC driver for Mac OSX. Is it true that iBasso has said that they probably won't be making one?

Cool. Love easy solutions. It was fresh in my mind 'cuz I  recently plugged mine into the PC using my USB charging cable (no data pins). Couldn't figure out why it wasn't recognizing the device. I confess to having many bad thoughts until I realized my error. Is there such a thing as USB Rage?

Do I need a warranty card to claim a warranty fix? I bought my DX50 new on Amazon but it didnt come with one.

Aren't there some sort of instructions as to how to use the DX50 as a DAC, since despite the fact that it is recognized as a USB Device by my laptop, i still can't change the output to the DX50... I'm using Win7 and 1.5.0 on the DX50, with the DAC mode activated in the USB Settings.

You bought this new on Amazon and it did not come with the warranty card?that's weird. I do belive you need the warranty card, you should contact Ibasso via there website and see what they can do. Or contact Amazon first maybe they will replace it. Did you ever notice if it freezes on the same song, maybe the songs are tagged wrong or something of that nature.

From their website: "iBasso products and accessories are to be free from malfunctions and defects in both materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Buyer should retain the original dated sales receipt or the warranty card." http://www.ibasso.com/en/info/?news_type=5&ID=23

Notably, my DX50 that I just got off Amazon did not come with a warranty card either.

Received this reply from Ibasso a few days ago.
