Fonebone (aka Sean) is based in Singapore. A local DIY-er who is quite popular.

Below link is his Flickr page.

I wonder what he'd charge for something like this?

I could make it myself but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle and aggravation for a ham-fisted ogre like me.

Sorensim, this does look good but until you try it with your rig it is hard to know if it will work (i.e. not cover up the headphone jack etc.). Therein lies the conundrum. I am going to HK in about three weeks accompanied by my rig and I will be searching for an interconnect that fits.

Let me know how it works and I will certainly post back if I find something.

BTW are you really an ogre? That's cool.  :)

Just FYI, ibasso replied to an email of mine asking about the progress of the firmware upgrade.
They replied with a link to a beta version of 1.2.3.
Overall, usage seems to be a bit smoother, and less buggy, so I thought I'd share it with all of you.

NOTE
this is a beta version of the firmware. Use at own risk. Be patient if you're not experiencing any problems with your unit with the current firmware.

"This firmware should able to solve most of the problems on your DX50.
As we had many minor changes on this Firmware, we need to more time to test it. It is still a beta version. So far, it is stable.

Sincerely"
