EMS takes longer than DHL and usually takes about 5-7 days to Australia.
It usually gets to Aus after 3 days and takes a few more to get to me.

Yes, in fact I requested this method, my concern is that I can't see the tracking, says nº incorrect, I know you have to wait some hours maybe one or two days to get the tracking active, but today is the third day.....

I generally find higher gain settings to bring things closer and even thickens the sound somewhat. Particularly vocals stick out more when I use gain settings. Bass also seems to have more omph to it.

I find high gain gives warmer sound and lusher mids for vocal. Low gain sounded more neutral to me and preferred for instrumental jazz and classicals... tho I am not absolutely sure yet if the warmth is purely due to the gain setting or have run-in make it warmer (personally I don't put much stock in running in but it could be a factor)

For me, the DX50 is never going to be a detail monster, and listening on high gain gives a very typical, and extremely well implemented 8740 sound, if I may generalized.

I actually found on low gain it was rather lacking and a little anemic........I do need to try with different (C)IEMs, but am rather occupied listening to the new TH900 that came in yesterday.

how do you guys feel about the bass? Put on hi gain will bring the bass a bit forward but sacrifice some detail...

With the 1p2 or tg334 bass is definitely sufficient even in low gain for me. I do prefer the mid/vocal a bit more upfront with mid/high gain with the 1p2.
