Yes it does, I keep my headphones hooked to the HO, works like a charm, it is a very versatile player. You can use the volume on the X5 to adjust if you need.

Wow that is really cool. I kind hesitant to buy such an expensive player at first, but if it also double as an Amp/DAC that I can use with my IEMs when hooked up to a computer that makes it absolutely amazing.

I hope you are kidding, the asking price is cheap compared to its competitors. Believe me this dap is built like a tank, you'll get tired before it ceases to work.

For the versatility and features the X5 offers, and for decent SQ, it's actually a heck of a bargain.

Well it is expensive compared to the Clip+ I have been using for a few years now lol. I'm not saying that it is overpriced at all.

The Foobar Bulk Attach Pictures utility has done its job. All of my Folder.jpg pictures are now embedded in songs. 
 
The X5 play screen is looking that much better with album art. I think that the presentation is quite well done. The album art covers the full screen. It is slightly muted for the top 3/4 of the screen where the player shows limited information, and then heavily muted (toned down) for the bottom quarter where all the Now Playing information is found. It looks good.

Sounds good, James. I would love it though if it also displayed the bit rate during those two minutes. For example, the above file is 320kbps.
