I purchased my fiio x3 on february 2014 and yesterday it went kaputt after updating library it froze and shut off and i cannot turn it on again, i already tried reset, the battery is 100% charged

will i get my money back if i claim warranty or no?

to connect it to your computer after removing the memory card ..disconnect it .. And open it without the memory card

Already tried that and nope it doesn't turn on at all, i got it from a reseller or distributor
 
In fact when i connect it to the pc it does turn on but several buttons don't function, like the play/turn on and the rewind and the hold switch also does not work

You tried to reformat your memory card the load the latest fw beta and flash it again ?

I tried but the play/ok/turn on button does not work anymore

Got the x3 plus free 32g sd card from buydig. Can't wait to see what this thing is like. I really wanted the dx90 but this 1/3 the price. Hope it doesn't create more upgraditis!

Updated to 3.0 tonight. Installed my card and tried to Update Music Library. It shows Update Failed. 0  songs updated.
 
I got to try to play music or go to album, artist, etc and nothing found.
 
I go to browse files and all my music is there.
 
It worked fine before 3.0  All music showed up in Artists, Genre, Album, Favorites, and Play All.
 
I'm a software infant, so please any advise needs to sound like you are talking to a 3 year old. Step by step, no big words. Thanks.

1. Pop out your mSD card
2. Update the library without the card
3. Put the mSD card back in
4. Update the library with the card

Tried it and it displayed the same message "Update Failed. 0 songs updated"
 
Weird thing is the Dr Chesky stuff is on the internal and it doesn't show up in Albums, Artist, Play all etc. It only shows up in Brows files.

have you trued:
1. main screen
2. settings
3. reset to factory settings?

No i already checked that, connected to pc tried reset, removed any sd card, tried reste withouth the card and nope nothings works
 
EDIT: tried contacting the guy who sold me it and his phones never answer, i dissassembled it to check if there is no loose connection, all is  fine, no loose cables

I have tried every thing on my dead fiio x3... RESET, remove sd card, coonect to pc, reset while connected to pc, hold is not on, i can't load firmware again because no buttons work NADA, nichts... Dead and the seller has not answered me.
 
I will wait until tuesday if by that i receive no answer from either fiio or they seller well... i feel sad for my pockets and i will hunt for a new DAP
