I have the X3 with me now and with my Westone ES5 (120dB/mW which is even more sensitive than the JH16 Pro 118dB/mW) I don't hear hiss at sane volume levels (20 out of 60) when music is playing. I wouldn't worry about it.

Seen the video long time ago, and I was the first to Spot that there will be a X5, thank you.

Agreed.  I just checked Fiio's lists and no luck finding these guys...

I will have one of these in a few days and can compare to my other daps.
