Excellent review - it seems like they have a winner on their hands. I'm itching to A/B this thing with my J3. I really like the size of this thing and it actually looks better than the X5 to me.

My X1 arrived at Noon today (Friday), I'm going to try to test them with about 10 of my headphones, it will be at least a few days before I post a detailed review.
The X1s can drive my 250-Ohm Beyerdynamic headphones, with the volume set at around 75%, but I'm still playing with the x1's settings.
Pink Floyd the Wall (FLAC) does sound good using my Audio Technica ATH-W1000X.
