AliExpress seller Antcodo has Sennheiser IE900’s for $161 to US. On the pro side, the picture has a certificate of authenticity in it, and one of the reviewers posted credible unboxing photos. On the minus side, seller has an 80% feedback score. What do you all think… Authentic?
Looking into AliTools they have 36% dissatisfied customers and a 4% rating for a 4 year old store. Check their seller ratings, all below average. Only one sale of most items on top selling page. Most IEMs are also labelled DIY, still pretty expensive and carrying logos of genuine items. Avoid like the plague!
Only the grey version but to be honest, it's actually matt black. Maybe less popular in the female market?
Very good, non-fatiguing, mid-centric IEM that seems to have largely flown under the radar.
I've used the store and found them reliable with 2 IEM purchases.
I'm tempted by the steep discount, but last time I tried both SRH1440 and SRH1840, the difference unfortuneately wasn't marginal. Do SRH1840s ever go on sale?
Ikko OH10, the Big Booba sounding IEMs is still a classic darling.
the only drawback being its metal shell is a bit heavy, but still reading comments of people buying it on discounts recently and surprised on how good it sound.
The OH2 were new in box, shrink wrapped. The "second hand" OH1 from the same page appeared to be new, that had been deliberately distressed to look second hand. Address for this store, legal contact and business registration are identical to the official IKKO store. Other reviews for OH10 indicated they were also brand new in sealed original packaging. This appears to be an alternative store to move overstocks without undercutting their products in the official store. I would have prefered the white version, but for half price, I can live with the less popular colour.
Seriously good sounding IEM for vocals and acoustic instruments!
It's Black Friday time once again and I just want to remind everyone quickly that if something seems too good to be true on sites like Amazon, ebay, Aliexpress, Walmart, etc. - it is. We've already had a few obviously fake listings shared here in the thread over the weekend, so thank you to everyone who was looking out for their fellow Head-Fi'ers.
Look at the seller, look at their feedback, and shop smart this week. Keep your wallet safe out there, everyone, and good hunting!

It's a good word of caution to be aware of "if it's too good to be true it probably is" but most of the big retailers now offer buyer protection and most credit cards and PayPal do as well. I agree with you to be suspect of shady prices but sometimes the best deals are rolling the dice on those risky deals as long as you know someone has your back. Amazon and Walmart will almost always side with the consumer and so will PayPal. The money is usually in limbo though until everything is sorted out.
Some good prices on the expensive 64Audio line of earphones at Audio46, an authorized dealer.
These are all 20% off, one can do better if you hunt around, but not by much, and not for new (not b-stock).
