I've done an A/B with a cheap freebie t-shirt I received from a tradeshow. The Koss is much smoother across the entire range, but as a result it's more revealing of the midsection. This is great if you have lean, well controlled mids, but unfortunately mine are full bodied and can be distracting at times.
