The 250 ohm version would be compatible with more amplifiers than the 600 ohm ones.

Sherwood doesn't list the headphone output in it's specs, you would have to send off an email to them.

I don't need it to work with more amplifiers. I have more than one headphones for that.
The Bravo V2 rated as 20~600 Ohm so isn't it enough?

Sorry I don't have a Bravo V2, the specs say it supports 600 ohms so you should be fine.

My pair of Beyerdynamic DT 880 600 ohm cans have never sounded better out of the Liquid Gold. I spent several hours using my old Beyerdynamic cans. Mostly listened to Frank Zappa and Negative Land. The bass never sounded better and the soundstage was a tad larger and more detailed.

But you have great amp and I have a cheap one. The question is will it work well with mine?

I have never used the bravo amp, but the specs says it should work just fine. Hope you have a great time jamming out :)

A friend of mine uses the Bravo v2 to drive his Beyerdynamic Tesla T1 headphones so your Brovo V2 should have no problem driving your headphones.

  Hi guys,
I was wondering if you could help me decide which version to buy, the DT880/250 or DT880/600.
I got the Bravo V2 with + RFT ECC82 tube.

-another question I got a Sherwood RD-6405R Receiver, can it drive 600ohm? (I didn't find answer online)

Thanks!

The Bravo V2 works fine with my DT880-250.  I am sorry, but I have never tried the V2 with the DT880-600.  Also, my Bravo V2 has the original tube. I tried an Electro-Harmonix 12AU7 EH Tube, but I returned it, because I preferred the original tube.

Really? It seems like a divided opinion. I just found this about the bravo v2 on the forum:
"The Achilles heel of this product is that it cannot be used beyond 45% volume. The hum becomes audible through the music beyond this point."
"If your considering this amp with anything over 300ohm impedance, look elsewhere."

Not sure about v2 but on ocean + 250 O the hum (low hiss.) happens past 9 o clock with lappy's SC, very noticeable after noon
With Samsung tablet/phone, no hum even to max

So with a really good source, the ocean does a decent job though i dont need to go past noon

With regular low O cans, i never go past 9 oclock, and usually even with the 250 (i got used to listening at more relaxed volume)
unlike when i have more "fun cans" like xb1k or shp9500 i turn it to like 10-11 oclock, which is LOUD
buttery smooth listening vs club type sound.

i think ocean supports 20-600 O anyway

what can one expect with the dt880 coming from the  AKG K712?
i like what the k712 does but wished it had more bottom end to better balance the quality highs it has

Less warmth and sharper/faster more extended treble.
