Played around a little more with the EQs. It's a nifty app, but the lack of Shuffle and the slow skip speed means I only use it when I'm in the mood of something the H-200 don't handle well, like JPop and JRock tracks with high sibilance.

Most of the time, I find just using the music app is much easier. Lol.

My settings. 500 has a slight 0.2 gain at .8 bandwidth

Hi I'm interested in getting a pair of H-200, but from the pictures they look big. I had fit issues with the TF10 and obviously they were too big for me. How do they compare against the TF10 in size? Are they smaller or are they around the same size?

Their fit is very different. I really don't know. TF10 goes over ear and deep, but H-200 goes shallow. I had fit issues with TF10, but H-200 fit me, but I can't guarantee that H-200 will fit you.

Thanks for your reply, it's good to know they fit better than the TF10. I just bought them and if they fit I will get rid of some of my other iems.

Yes, prepare your wallet! I'm using the largest single flange or mushroom style tips.

I update my review on H-200. It has better detail that I used to think it had.

I don't know if this has been done before. You guys remember how Rin said that shallow insertion reduces the peak? Well, If you push the tip in, the bass reduces, but the mids become much more balanced and less peaky. Well worth trying.

This is when tip is placed normally.

This is with the tips pushed in. Just push the tips toward the body of the iem, and it will stay like that.
 
I just thought it was worth a try.

I did not get a reply, it's been two weeks since I last inquired. I found an eBay seller who may be able to customize cables. Will update you guys if the outcome is good. Give me a couple of weeks.

T-Peos, when will we see the upgrade cable?

I received word from T-Peos today about H-200 upgrade cables, it was a sudden and unexpected email. They've been busy testing different cable types, metals, strands, gauges etc to see what works best on H-200. At this point in time its looking like there'll be two options available, one silver plated and another pure silver version, I'll have more as this unfolds hopefully, but rest assured the cables are coming, to my understanding it's mostly testing that's taking time, as I was told T-Peos tried a few cables types that didn't offer much benefit over stock and they really don't want to sell something like that. So T-Peos are working on the custom cables for us.


I have a picture with some details of both cables to date.

Please take them with grains of salt, there's no set price yet and I really don't know if what we're looking at is 100% final or when they're coming.
