Does it have more bass than sony mh1?

Very similar with the Mh1 having a little bit more sub bass quantity. Speed, decay, texture, impact, and detail are better on the Altone 200.

what I am hearing is the Altone has a bit more mid bass but lesser in sub bass quantity compared to the MH1.

I take that back. Bass is very decent. Highs are not bright. Amazing performance for the price is what it is. Who needs fancy accessories anyways. Hope other brands follow suit.

At first insertion I was a bit taken aback by how aggressive the high end was on my Altones driven by my X5 + E12 DIY (OPA2227 + BUF634). I think the OPA2227 pushed the Altones over the edge! They seem much more agreeable with smoother high end and better bass with my DX90 or the X5 on its own .

Time to swap out opamps :flushed:!

Could you guys comment on the isolation?  Is it a sealed dynamic like SE215 or does it have a vent?  I'd love to try this but I'm finding myself in the market for something with more isolation than my IE80s on my daily commute.  Thanks

Hello Can someone please tell me size of nozzle Altone200? Almost buy Dn-1000, but their nozzle too big for my ears, so now i look in Altone direction. And how about little compare Altone200 and TripleFi? Thanks.

Going from memory Altone will immediately sound a lot clearer than a GR07 around the mid-range, and maybe a touch more aggressive. For those who prefer clarity, separation  and transparency it should be an easy choice, though bringing areas like natural timbre on exhibit with Vonics earphone one my lean the other way. I can tell you along with Brooko I prefer Altone200 over Dunu DN-1000 because to me the Dunu sounds veiled in comparison and blurry, for me who likes a clear mid-range that's an easy choice. And I do prefer Dunu DN-1000 over GR07. Again because of the balanced armature presentation and their attributes.
