Symphonium Titan - Impressions and reviews

HBB in his latest video talked about the Titan as being his #1 most anticipated soon to launch IEM.

He cropped the picture I took of the Titan and put it in his video.

Guess our feedback and hype for the Titan made him hyped for it too. I think he's going to love it. :L3000:

Not the best crop, but we do appreciate him giving us a shout out! :D

To all who have demoed the Titan:
Have you heard the Elysian Diva on the max bass setting and how does it compare to the Titan?

I know it's a hybrid set compared to an all-BA set, tuned by two very different shops, but all of the Titan impressions I've read so far have been somewhat reminiscent of the Diva.

Coincidentally, I have tried the Diva twice now, both times with the max bass setting, right after hearing the Titan. The booths are right next to one another.

The Titan has substantially better sub bass, it's both higher in quantity, but also in quality. The Titan has some of the best rumble texture I've ever heard on any IEM. It's reminiscent of a cars system with a sub-woofer. I know that sounds like hyperbole, and I know I'm probably exaggerating a little here, but the rumble I felt and the thump behind the mid-bass was impressive.

The Diva is a cleaner presentation, with less rumble and texture, a softer approach almost. However, it's very clean and elastic with good body. I'd say the Diva has the 3rd best BA bass I've ever heard - WAY behind the STORM, but right behind the U12t.

But that's my opinion.

Thanks for the comparison! Only a week away from CJ SG and the Titan release so I'm hyped :)

My pleasure, always happy to help if I can. I'm also looking forward to the release, I'm just hoping the gods are nice to me and I have funds ready to go to purchase the set!

Quick update,

I've got the graphs on hand, just waiting for the greenlight to post it. :L3000:

It has somewhere around a ~18db bass shelf, I remember we did try to go for 20db in the initial prototypes but it was getting a lil muddy.

Here ya go :beerchug:
Where 15kHz?

J/k  The midrange and up seem like a departure from the usual tuning. Interesting.

What are those Symphonium premium tips you mentioned in the graph?

Naturally the standard caveats apply

Don't read too deeply into it - graphs aren't everything and mic setups are not equal to others etc etc....

Ok boring part over, the graph looks dope ^^

We have a new set of tips that we are shipping with the Titan as well as our house tips in blue.
This measurement was taken with the new tips which are slightly wider bore than our house tips.

Those are the House Tips we ordered in blue to color match :D
We are really going full-on with the blue-theme on this IEM
