Want to know which one's DAC output has better sound. If you have heard both iMod Nano and iMod classic (same amp same phones of course), please provide some info...

There has only been one iMod nano ever made, and Ken said it was too big of a pain in the ass to ever do again. There never has been an iMod classic, and the iPod classic has a fairly clean signal path in comparison to the generations before it anyways.

Yes as far as I understand the Classic can't be iModded as the whole audio circuty is in one chip so Ken can't get at the signals he needs.

There is no Imod Nano and Imod Classic.
There is only DIY mods.

But both of them can let the sound goes from the dock by a LOD without any modification.

hehehe, I guess that pretty much exposed my total ignorance in the iPod world...

so, the new question: the SQ difference between signal-tapped nano and signal-tapped 5G? Anybody?
