Please don't be lazy and read the forums for a while instead of expecting the community to spoon-feed you.

You can go in a few dozen directions for $2,000.

Most of those won't make you happy.

Unless you know what your tastes are, dropping a bunch of cash based on the tastes of others is almost a guarantee that you won't be happy with the system.

Go back to the $100 headphone recommendations. Buy one. It doesn't matter if you like it or not - either reaction will tell you where to go next. Buy used, too, because you'll be able to get most of your money back out when you sell.
