Does anyone know where replacement earpads and headband can be purchased from? Mainly searching for ones in Europe, but as a last resort, it could be worldwide. Thanks!

Left and right ear pad numbers:
- A-2166-862-A
- A-2166-863-A
Quite high prices too. A-2166-862-A + A-2166-863-A = >200 USD/EUR generally, correct? At least I couldn't find anything better when sourcing a backup pair a few months ago.

There
You can still get Dekoni's velour pads for $40, unsure about shipping to EU but it is an option, it does make the Z1R a little boomier in the bass. Otherwise it seems like you could pull the mounting rings out of the stocks or the Dekonis and apply them to leather earpads that have the same diameter. 3rd party backing of these headphones seems to be dying out sadlyQuite high prices too. I’ve been for several years using eBay angled leather pads and had my son 3D print ekstra mounting ringsThere

Yes, I got two varieties of Dekoni pads as well, but I prefer Sony's original pads. Surprised that they are so expensive (compared to say ZMF pads) and so hard to source.

Yea they're proud of those pads... Hoping to keep mine and the headband looking pristine with some leather conditioning every few months. Would like to be running these 5-10 years down the line as I've yet to find a better set of closed backs for my taste.Yes, I got two varieties of Dekoni pads as well, but I prefer Sony's original pads. How do the Elite Hybrid compare to the Elite Sheepskin (solid)? Have you done this comparison by any chance? It's the latter that I bought, tried, and found inferior to the stock pads.
What amp are you pairing the Z1R with there?

I only compared to the perforated sheep skin, I only like the Elite Hybrid by far, though being DCed is going to be hard. How do the Elite Hybrid compare to the Elite Sheepskin (solid)? Next to the hybrid, I would recommend the Veylor

I had the MDR-Z7 a while back and someone on the thread said you can source the stock pads in Japan for a much lower price (use a buying/shipping agent), I suppose it may apply for the Z1R too?Does anyone know where replacement earpads and headband can be purchased from? That's a nice store...I might order G pads for Final D8000. I can't order them in Europe...
Thanks!
Cheers!
How does one order from there? Seem to be shipping to JP only.
