No surprise really. Your hands are capable of some deliciously tasty treats my friend. This ones no different, and as I've said before, they look quite edible, enough to make the fellas' over at the Wonka Factory jealous.

Oh gosh.... i just saw this thread for the first time. The only thing i can say is.... PLEASE LET ME BE YOUR APPRENTICE!!! :p
Haha, i am really interested in knowing how you actually build CIEMs. Srsly, there is very very little information on the net about this.

Haha yeah, saw the first link befor but the second one is new to me. Interestingly, im still curious how they tune the drivers. Perhaps through different crossovers?

Here's a behind the scenes at Westone - it's not as good as the UE vids but it's nice to see Westone, all the same.

...as has been mentioned, the tuning is done in a number of ways, including length, width, and number, of air ports (Spiral Ears use 5 ports on their flagship 5-way, for example), and, as you mentioned, also by tweaking the crossovers.

What I'd be interested to find out is how phase-alignment is approached, since, as far as I'm aware, there's only just so much one can do in that regard, with a passive crossover.

..then there's filters (electrical and physical) and hollow or filled IEM chambers, variation in depth of IEM canal length, bespoke or off-the shelf drivers (I think I recall JH sometimes use bespoke BA drivers from Knowles etc.)

If anyone reading this thread has more links on how IEMs are made (in detail, and regardless of whether it's video content or simply webpages), I know there are lots of us Head-Fiers who'd be fascinated to learn more, not least myself and Cryok95, so please do share what you can!

It is all about the "MoJo" not the numbers.

No no no... you got me all wrong. I am well aware that more drivers does not necessary mean better. I meant how was the configuration? What crossover (3/4way?) and how many sound bores etc :p How does it sound?
