The purple one is a USB A-B while the pair are male-female XLR cables. If you reverse the directions then you gonna have a baaad time.

Actually the purple cord is an hdmi i2s cable, so it's bi-directional.. (or.. is it? :stuck_out_tongue:). but yes, the rest are xlr.

Beautiful studio shots, too. Looks like @Roasty could be a pro photographer :)

Thanks man! I actually have some pretty decent camera gear which I bought mainly to take pics of my kids, but they're so uncooperative. my audio gear doesn't move or complain, so much easier to get some nice pics.

I admire good photography (and the guys who make it) but I realized long ago, that even if I had the best cameras and lenses on earth, my photos would look like they came from one of those plastic, disposable instamatic cameras :frowning2:

When I take shots of my gear they look fine through the viewfinder or on the phone screen as far as I know. But when I see the photo, it looks like it was shot in one of those rooms where the walls are different heights, house of mirrors etc. :D

Clint Eastwood got it right, "A man's got to know his limitations."

My apologies. I should have posted this picture instead because it has headphone art on the wall. Lol.

Very, but I have to have the pillow my lower back. With that, I can spend all day in it no problem.

It's an imitation Eames chair. $600 on Amazon I think.

😳😂 Yeah, the Denafrips surface is a dust magnet… I am too used to it and only notice it in photos…

Thanks! :beerchug: The Ultimate amps are sleeper products of the year IMHO! Since retirement no desktop audio, just smooth sailing recliner style!

Was thinking about ordering that Little Bear switch today - how do you like it? Any noise or issues?
Sry for the late Answer! Nothing my ears can detect and i really like the build of this thing.

Rollin' time. Found these on Ebay. I don't usually buy if it isn't NIB, but this seemed a good deal. Some guy bought them for his Preamp, and then discovered they weren't the right tubes when he cracked the thing open. So I get em cheaper, and Brent Jesse seems legit... so it's all good.
I've got the Amperex Ecc88's in the buffer now, running them in a bit. See how they compare to my Matsushita's. I'm not so interested in the 70's Mullards.
Matsushita VS Amperex... will report back.

EDIT:

VICTORY goes to :trophy: MATSUSHITA 6922 :trophy:
