Shanling M3X Portable Player - Our smallest Android Player

The SD card slot cover on my M3X broke. A couple of pieces of rubber came off with use, and now the cover just hangs loose unless I keep it in place with a piece of tape.
Is there any way to replace it? Or is the tape a solution as good as any other?

Still no hotfix until now? @Shanling do we have to wait until next update?
I guess the answer is yes, i have pretty much tried everything from factory reset to reflashing the firmware to formating my sd card and copying the music using dap as a memory card reader all my issues still not fixed (the cutout at beginning and hang when closing the app)
edit :

also when updating library, there are duplicates to the file list, great...

If you purchased your M3X from your local dealer/distributor, they can supply you with replacement card cover.

If you use third party app, all works fine?

For duplicate files, check on the files taht are duplicating, if there is any letfover cue file or sort of ghost copies (often happens on Mac)

We were unable to replicate the issue with closing the app. Does it happen only if you try to close the app by click the X in the swipe down menu?

tested using hiby music, fiio music, usb audio player pro, apple music, all works fine.

if i clear all app data and the library is not updated, the app closing just fine, but after i updated the library with 100+ songs, when i close the app using the swipe down menu, it hangs.

can you guys provide me with the last firmware (ver 1.67) for a temporary fix?

previously before updating to firmware 1.7, i can close the shanling app normally



i use sandisk micro sd card for the music storage, if that matters

@Shanling downgrading to V1.67 FIXED all the issues I mentioned above, no more hangs, no more cut out sound at the start of the songs

there is definitely something wrong with the Shanling Audio Music APP on the V1.70 version
How do you downgrade? Just install it normally like usual update? I’ll try later

yeah, there is definitely something wrong, there is no quality control, there is no test before they shipped the update, there is no following when they have errors...

I've bought some new bluetooth headphones, the Bose QuietComfort, and I haven't been able to connect it to the Bose music app on this Shanling player. I've spoken to somebody at Bose and I think they told me something wrong that I need to have bluetooth 5.1 on my device. I also can't connect the app to my headphones on my android phone. The old Bose QuietComfort 45/SE headphones, which are specified as being 5.1 work with the app. I can pair the headphones with the devices but I need the app to control many functions. I'd really like to get the app working. Does anyone know what's up?

So to be clear, the app doesn't work both on the M3X and on your phone? If that's the case, seems that's up to Bose.

If their app requires BT 5.1 for these functionalities, there is nothing we can do.
