With regard to the line out, it appears that the unit only has one headphone / mini jack. So I assume that selection between headphone mode and line out mode is in software. If that is the case, I hope that Shanling does not repeat a mistake made on the FIIO X1. On that unit, if one selected line out, you then had to click on another item saying you understand that the volume will be very loud. So changing modes on the fly was really hard. If you want to play it in the car, the FIIO required multiple steps to get going and was a royal pain. Not suggesting Shanling is doing that, just trying to avoid that.

Are there any opamps that are better that can be exchanged in that you would suggest ?
 
I think the Muses01 is the better materials/sq version of the 8920 for a start...

Its easy to mention opamp but it comes down to design. I always enjoyed the OPA627xx, OPA128LM and Muses 02 sound.

I actually have no problem with that, I just want (what appears to be) a larger screen... @nmatheis said 3"...is that Horizontal or vertical (It doesn't look to be square...) This may be the ideal transport for my Hugo (assuming coaxial or optical out), Stoked!

The UI is basically similar to our current ones.

This looks like a great little device. Whilst dual card slots would've been nice, it's great that this seems to have digital output capability. The only downside seems to be the lack of a touch screen
