Yes, the plugs are permanently attached. I have the prior version of this cable (they update the design from time to time), but it is supple and good quality. There are others in the IE600 and IE900 threads who have provided impressions as well.

I agree a lot with his comparisons between the 900 and 600, however, I feel the difference in soundstaging, imaging, and layering deserves more emphasis. Sure, I'd agree it's a little better in each category but all of this adds up to a more holographic sound that pops. It's the bass and immersion factor of the 900 that pushed me to keep it over the 600.

I own IE900. Paired with Fiio BTR7 and Sony WM1ZM2. Both sound great to me.

If Fiio m11 has the same sound signature of btr7 then they should pair well (sorry, don't have first hand knowledge)...
