Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

That built in is about 6 feet to my side in the listening position. All signal cables are routed on one side, power on the other. Haven’t optimized visuals yet (Yggy is coming thanks to @Slackaveli). I have decided to relegate the Cambridge Audio Azur 751BD to video duty; reclaiming the older Phillips 963SA to use now as transport (into Yggy; I validated it’ll work by moving Modi down from office for temp duty). Yggy will live on top of the transport

The Tices in basement directly under the built ins… it is thusly powering the entire system; eliminating any possibility of a power related ground loop. And, it’s transformers low level hum is now out of hearing. Next, the Classe’ DR9 Amp on other side of basement (25 foot run of Snake Oil Balanced, big guage extension cord so it is also into the Tice.

Yeah, it’s a basement… LOL… just one now with gear in it and massive 2 guage speaker cabling up on the ceiling…

Hoisting those beasts (I think the Tices are well over 70 pounds each, and the amps gotta be pushing 50) up there was serious and almost dangerous effort all alone. But I was determined.

Now, I just have to find something to semi-plug the two holes under each speaker (1 1/2” diameter)…

Finally the self-reward; decisions await tonight post-dinner

I think I’m going to try the Wheated BIB… I’ve already had the Rye and the Straight American before; and I’m typically a huge fan of Wheateds…

Dude! That is awesome, Your Yggy OG/A1 still shows Tuesday for me, alas. I’ll post pics of all I’ve managed to do these last two days with wifey out of town wrt: redoing the entire room in anticipation…

Also, went out to Total Wine (it’s a round trip 3 hour schlepp for me and the Bismarck) and managed to score 4 different Oregon Spirits (@sixergixer ). It was a celebration of the incoming Yggy + finally getting my room the way I really always wanted it.

I may have a crap ton of Cherry finish Salamander Furniture for any one local enough to come and get it. Took down one lower double-wide, and one single wide tower. Still have one double wide left to go (and the other tower is still packed from the move. It’s just too much for the room, which (unfortunately) also has to double as our video room (though we watch maybe on average 2 hours total a week, not counting Wifey’s exercise DVD’s…

Pics after dinner
Awesome, Brother, can't wait for you to get to hear it in its final resting place. Congrats on the haul.

Ah heck, I can eat my dinner (garlic/red-wine pork sausages grilled with garlic dill sauerkraut on custom rolls - yes wifey is away) AND post the pics…

First the room (including where I moved amp and Tice Power Block/Titan to basement), then, the reward…

Have you tried to switch the panels to locate the ribbon tweeters on the outside? That might give you a wider stage.
Also… being dipoles, toeing in the panels will angle the back reflection to better control room modes and second arrivals. This from my experience with dipole planar speakers. YMMV.
